Introduction to Localization in Humanitarian Aid

The Leadership and Sahel Studies Center (CLES), firmly committed to leadership and capacity building for local organizations involved in the humanitarian field, invites you to a webinar on the introduction to aid localization. During this webinar, we will discuss:
- Understanding the term « as local as possible, as international as necessary » in humanitarian response.
- The latest reflections on introducing this approach through the Grand Bargain at the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul in 2016 and where the discussion stands today.
- And, most importantly, how knowledge of international commitments aimed at increasing investment in the capacities, delivery, and leadership of local responders can support you as a local/national NGO.
