Anticipatory call for proposals for research teams — Adolescents Thrive: African Adolescents Bolstered through Local Evidence (AABLE)

| This call for proposals will support implementation research that addresses challenges in adolescent sexual and reproductive health in 13 African countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Projects must align with one of the following four priority themes: Theme 1: Service Delivery Models Theme 2: Social, Economic, or Multisectoral Policy Interventions Theme 3: Data and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) Theme 4: Digital Health Technologies Up to eight grants, each with a maximum value of CAD692,000 will be awarded for a period of up to 30 months, including all research activities and the submission of the final report. Selected projects are anticipated to begin on November 1, 2025. Eligibility Research teams from the selected African countries, working on adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights.
